NonStop Aventura CEO Urtzi Iglesias came second in the Aventra World Racing Championship, held in South Africa from the 19th to the 28th of October. The multidisciplinary race, which combined modalities such as mountain biking, kayaking, trekking and rope handling, had the participation of 109 teams from 30 different countries and a route of 900 km through the Kouga Region, South Africa. Urtzi, together with his teammates Marco Amselem (Brazil), Jon Ander Arambalza (ESP) and Mari Chandler (USA), reached the finish line in second place, after 124 hours of racing in nonstop format and 6 hours behind the champion team, Swedish Armed Forces (Sweden).Ā The podium was completed by the Estonian Ace/La Sportiva team. This is not Urtzi's first runner-up position, as he achieved the same position in the 2013 (Costa Rica) and 2014 (Ecuador) world championships.
